Headlight Washer
I spent the afternoon washing, waxing and polishing my XK8. It looked great. That evening when I was backing out of the driveway I hit the wiper lever and the headlight washer sprayed fluid over the whole hood. Aggghhhh.I love that feature as this has happened to me before.

I laugh, but I cry. Same thing has happened to me too. But if you notice, it doesn't do that every single time you hit the lever. I think it is set to spray the headlights once every 3 or 6 activations. Will have to look that up again. In my case, I had two blue racing stripes up my hood - on a freshly polished Jag too..... I could have cried.....

It is every third activation. Mine sprays hard and wide. It covered the whole hood in beads and bubbles. I use full strength washer fluid with no water so it was bubbly. Made me real happy.

Hey guys, talking about headlight washer... have you noticed a little plastic diamon-shape cruciform that holds in place the cover of the headlight washer? Any idea as to where can I get one of those cruciforms?

Hi Raul, the clips that you refer to (X Type I assume) are known as 'Crucifix Clips' and are unfortunately not available anywhere separately, you need to buy the complete washer jet and cover to get the Crucifix Clip! Another money making exploit by Jaguar!!
