Heated windshield replacement

Has anyone here gone through the replacement of a heated windshield... can you indicate in which part of the windshield will the wires to connect it to the 12V be? On the bottom of the glass, on the sides?... any other information on the process would be appreciated.

Hey Raul!  My computer is temporarily behaving so I'm going to try typing quick before it craps out on me.  I'm in the same boat.  I'm looking at replacing my heated windshield as well.  It's de laminating along the top edge and it's finally cut some of the wires on the driver side of the windshield so they no longer work.  I'm also wondering about the replacement cost as I'm thinking the insurance company won't cover the windshield.
